Datasheet Download Terms of Use

These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your access to and use of datasheets and other technical documents ("Datasheets") made available for download from the Rapid Connect Gearbox website (the "Website"). Rapid Connect Gearbox is a brand owned by Avenium Engineering Ltd ("we", "us", "our").

By downloading a Datasheet, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, you must not download or use the Datasheets.

1. Permitted use

Datasheets are provided for your own internal reference and engineering use only. You may use the Datasheets to:

  • Obtain dimensions and technical specifications required to carry out spatial and clearance checks.
  • Design mounting arrangements and accessories intended to be used with our products.
  • Evaluate the suitability of our products for your intended application.

Any other use requires our prior written permission.

2. Prohibited use

You must not, without our prior written consent:

  • Use the Datasheets to copy, reverse engineer, reproduce or manufacture products that compete with or imitate our products.
  • Resell, sublicense, redistribute or publish the Datasheets, in whole or in part, to any third party.
  • Remove, alter or obscure any trade marks, copyright notices or other proprietary markings.
  • Use the Datasheets in any way that is unlawful or that could damage our reputation.

3. Intellectual property

All Datasheets and their contents remain the property of Avenium Engineering Ltd and are protected by intellectual property rights. No rights are transferred to you other than the limited right to use the Datasheets as set out in these Terms.

4. Accuracy and no warranty

We take care to ensure the information in our Datasheets is accurate at the time of publication. However, Datasheets are provided for general guidance only and the information may be updated or superseded without notice. You are responsible for verifying that the version you hold is current and suitable for your intended application before relying on it.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, the Datasheets are provided "as is", and we give no warranties, express or implied, as to their accuracy, completeness or fitness for any particular purpose.

5. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we shall not be liable for any loss or damage arising from your use of, or reliance on, the Datasheets, including any errors in dimensions or specifications used in spatial checks or in the design of mounting accessories. Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or any other liability that cannot be excluded by law.

It remains your responsibility to confirm critical dimensions and tolerances with us before manufacture or installation.

6. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The version in force is the one published on the Website at the time you download a Datasheet.

7. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute arising from them.
